# Basic Vehicle Information (BVI)

Basic Vehicle Information (BVI) is MotorWeb’s smallest report that provides the key information about a vehicle.  It's ideal for getting a simple check on a vehicle and is ideal for:

* Vehicle Service Centres
* Local Authorities
* Parking
* Towing

This report is available via the MotorWeb Portal and via API.
