Bulk Data Platform
Overview
MotorWeb's Bulk Data Platform is a simple to use application that allows you to get various types of vehicle information in bulk for large lists of vehicles - all in one easy to use place.
We’ve got a number of pre-configured data services to select from which provide either:
Raw NEVDIS data (the data service name will be prefixed with RN)
MotorWeb enhanced data (the data service name will be prefixed with MW)
The Bulk Data Platform is designed to handle large volumes of data and process transactions in such a way that it doesn’t adversely impact normal MotorWeb system performance. In other words, we'll batch up all the vehicles you've given us and process them over time (batch processing).
To request a bulk report, simply:
login to the portal,
select your desired data service,
upload your file of vehicles,
leave us to do the hard work
When we're done, we'll send you and email to let you know you can download the results. You can also login to the portal to see how far through your request we are.
Available Data Services
MotorWeb’s Bulk Data Platform (BDP) offers two types of Data Services to boost your data analytics or data refresh activities.
MotorWeb Enhanced
MotorWeb currently has the following MotorWeb Enhanced data services available:
MW - AutoID (NVIC Only)
Provides NVIC code and associated vehicle information per our AutoID API. Only available for Glass’s licensed customers.
MW - Emissions Data & Estimates
Provides information on a vehicle’s carbon emissions, fuel consumption and estimated fuel costs
MW - Vehicle Safety Information
Provides information on a vehicle’s ANCAP rating
Raw NEVDIS
MotorWeb currently has the following Raw NEVDIS data services available:
RN - Extended Vehicle Information
Provides vehicle and registration information including Year of Manufacture (where available), Compliance Plate, Make, Make description, Model, Model Description, Primary Colour, Body Type, Vehicle Type, Engine Number (where available) and, Registration Status and Expiry Date
RN - Registration Status
Provides a vehicle’s Registration Status and Expiry Date
RN - Stolen Information
Provides information on whether a vehicle is registered as Stolen
RN - Vehicle Dates & Registration
Provides Year of Manufacture (where available), Compliance Plate, Registration Status and Expiry Date
RN - Vehicle Specifications
Provides information on the specifications of the vehicle including Make, Make description, Model, Model Description, Primary Colour, Body Type, Vehicle Type, and Engine Number (where available)
RN - Written Off Information
Provides written off information for a vehicle (where this exists) including Type Code, Jurisdiction, Incident Record Date, Incident Code, Current and Historical Damage Codes
