AutoDescription
AutoDescription has been developed for the 'non-motor-insurance' market where a vehicle valuation identifier is not required.
AutoDescription allows a customer to identify critical vehicle specification information simply by entering the vehicle’s plate and state (or VIN) into the MWAU system.
The API returns the following information via API or via the MotorWeb portal:

17 character unique identifier for a vehicle
year
Year of the vehicle as recorded by the registration authority

Make or brand of the vehicle

Model of the vehicle

model-generation
Generation or model code of a particular model lineup.

A sub variant within a model, this is also commonly known as 'Trim'.
