# AutoDescription

AutoDescription has been developed for the 'non-motor-insurance' market where a vehicle valuation identifier is not required. 

AutoDescription allows a customer to identify critical vehicle specification information simply by entering the vehicle’s plate and state (or VIN) into the MWAU system.

The API returns the following information via API or via the MotorWeb portal:

| colour              | Colour of the vehicle as recorded                                               | White                                                                  |
| engine-capacity     | Total engine displacement in cubic centimetres.                                 | 2000                                                                   |
